Music Matters

To understand how different people view music, the Music Matters infographic examines how age can affect music preferences. Surprising similarities are found by people 21 and under and those 41 and over. These age groups enjoy Rock whereas the age group in between enjoys Pop the most. When asked about their preferred method to purchase music, the younger music users preferred downloading it to buying it in store as the older generation chooses to. Also not surprising is that those 21 and under prefer to listen to music via an MP3 player whereas those over 21 enjoy listening to music through their car’s entertainment system or via their home entertainment center.
